Job Opening: Finance & Bookkeeping Specialist
Status: Part-Time (flexible schedule)
The Cleveland County Arts Council is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance & Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. This key position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of our non-profit arts organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks

Process payroll and manage employee records

Oversee accounts payable and receivable
-
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with annual budget development

Reconcile bank statements and manage restricted funds and grant reporting
-
Ensure compliance with non-profit financial regulations and reporting standards

Work closely with the Executive Director and Board Treasurer
Qualifications:

Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing

Proficiency with QuickBooks (Desktop or Online)

Solid understanding of non-profit accounting and financial reporting

High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred:

Prior experience with non-profit organizations

Familiarity with donor management systems and grant tracking

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
