​We’re back and we are following healthy guidelines (lots of hand sanitizer, encouraging masks, cleaning touch surfaces and limiting attendance) because we want to be safe.  Our hours are a little different temporarily, Mon. – Fri. 9:00 – 4:00, Sat. 10:00 – 2:00. We’ve missed you and hope you will come by the gallery to see our newest exhibit, “The Art of Self Expression – Annual Cleveland County Artist Competition.” Or, you will be able to see the full exhibit online soon. This annual competition contains original artwork created by local artists (age 18 and up) within the last 2 years and not previously entered in a competition at the Arts Center. Artists must be residents of Cleveland County or full-time students at a Cleveland County college or university.

The Cleveland County Arts Council will present the 17th annual Art of Sound weekend concert series, in Uptown Shelby. A variety of musicians and groups will perform in several different venues with music and fun for everyone.
