Hanging Requirements

No sawtooth hangers will be accepted.

CCAC reserves the right to refuse artwork that is not properly prepared for hanging or does not meet the stated exhibition requirements.

Acceptance

All exhibitions in The Studios Gallery are juried unless otherwise noted.

Submission does not guarantee acceptance into an exhibition.

Only artwork selected through the jury process may be exhibited. Substitutions for accepted artwork are not permitted.

Artwork delivered to CCAC must correspond to the artwork represented in the submitted image.

Exhibition Period

Accepted artwork must remain on display for the entire exhibition period.

Artwork may not be removed before the exhibition closes, including sold artwork, unless authorized by CCAC.

Sales

Artwork may be offered for sale or designated NFS (Not for Sale).

All sales are processed through the Cleveland County Arts Council and are subject to CCAC's standard 35% commission.

Sold artwork will remain on display through the close of the exhibition unless otherwise determined by CCAC.

Delivery & Pickup

Artists are responsible for delivering accepted artwork to CCAC during the dates specified in the individual Call for Artists.

Artists are also responsible for picking up their work during the designated pickup period following the exhibition.

Specific delivery and pickup dates will be provided for each exhibition.

Installation

CCAC is responsible for the placement and installation of artwork within The Studios Gallery.

Placement is determined based on the overall exhibition, available wall space, scale, spacing, and relationship between selected works.

Photography & Promotion

Artists whose work is accepted grant CCAC permission to photograph the artwork for purposes related to the exhibition and promotion of the Cleveland County Arts Council, including website, social media, email, press, and promotional materials.

Artists retain copyright to their original artwork.
