Watch Uptown Shelby transform into a vibrant outdoor gallery as artists, families, students, and creative spirits of all ages take to the sidewalks with nothing but chalk, imagination, and a whole lot of color. ChalkFest is a one-day celebration of creativity and community where the streets become canvases and YOU get to be part of the art.

Stroll through the chalk-covered walkways and witness masterpieces in progress — from whimsical illustrations and bold abstractions to breathtaking realism. Whether you're an experienced artist or simply someone who loves to doodle, ChalkFest is all about showing up, having fun, and letting your creativity flow.
