Grassroots Grant Program
Administered by the Cleveland County Arts Council as the Designated County Partner (DCP), this program is funded by the state on a per capita basis. The Grassroots Grant supports the overall development of the arts in Cleveland County by providing financial assistance to non-profit organizations for art programs that benefit the community.
Artists in Schools Grant
The Artists in Schools Grant provides funding for creative projects that integrate the arts into classroom learning or enhance arts education in Cleveland County schools.
Teachers and administrators from Pre-K through 12th grade are eligible to apply.

Artist Support Grants Program
The Artist Support Grants provide direct funding for emerging and established artists to develop their professional and creative practices. Grants can support projects that enhance artistic skills, create new work, expand business operations, or reach new audiences.
This regional program is open to artists living in Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Cleveland, Gaston, Lincoln, and Rowan Counties. Artists working in visual, craft, performing, traditional, or interdisciplinary arts are encouraged to apply.
