Beginner Watercolor: Mexican Landscape and Architecture: starts July 11

Explore watercolor through the beauty of Mexican landscapes and architecture in this beginner-friendly 4-week course.

This class will introduce foundational watercolor techniques while guiding students through culturally inspired studies of Mexican architecture and landscapes. Using reference images of real locations, students will explore how to capture color, structure, and atmosphere in watercolor painting. 

No experience is required! This is a great opportunity to learn, be creative, and have fun.

(2-hr weekly sessions): 

• Week 1: Introduction to watercolor fundamentals and simple architectural forms
• Week 2: Sketching from reference images and building initial watercolor layers
• Week 3: Guided painting development with individual reference photos
• Week 4: Final painting and finishing techniques

Days: Saturdays (July 11 - August 1)

Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Cost: $80 total for the 4-week course

Supplies: Please bring your own watercolor paper of choice. Paints and brushes will be provided for use during class.
