Cleveland County Artist Competition

The Cleveland County Arts Council invites artists to submit original work for the 2026 Cleveland County Artists Competition. This annual exhibition celebrates creativity, individuality, and the power of self-expression within our local artist community.

Entry Fees

• $35 for up to 2 entries
• Additional entries: $5 each
• Maximum of 4 entries per artist

Eligibility

• Open to artists 18 years and older
• Must be a resident of Cleveland County or a full-time student at a Cleveland County college or university
• Artwork must be:
  • Original
  • Created within the last 2 years
  • Not previously exhibited in a competition at the Arts Council

Accepted Work

• Two-dimensional and three-dimensional work accepted, including:
  • Painting
  • Drawing
  • Sculpture
  • Printmaking
  • Fine craft

Presentation Requirements:

• All 2D work must be ready to hang with picture wire
• No sawtooth hangers
• Work requiring special installation may be declined at the discretion of the Arts Council
