Intro to Sewing - Get to know your sewing machine

Description

Grab that sewing machine and dust her off, it’s time to learn how to use it!

In this class, Nicole will go over the anatomy of your machine and how it works. You will learn how to thread the upper part and make a bobbin. We will practice sewing on paper and then fabric, and time allowing, we will make a small zippered pouch from cork. This class is designed to demystify your machine, to create confidence and excitement, and to get those needles moving. We are going to start from square one and build up our skills, together. When you leave this class you’ll have a working understanding of your machine and the confidence to take on small projects on your own.
