Do you want to make a quilt but feel intimidated by the process? This class will ease your mind and give you the basics for making a throw quilt. The class will give you the confidence needed to venture into more in depth quilting. My class is structured to not intimidate and use bigger pieces to let you gain experience in cutting and piecing to make a beautiful throw. Come see for yourself how easy this can be and how much satisfaction you will receive from your completed quilt.
Supplies needed:
- Working sewing machine with ¼ “ foot
- Thread for bobbin/top
- Scissors/rotary cutter (if available)
- Rotary Ruler/Mat
- (A rotary ruler/cutter/mat will be available in the class. An iron will also be accessible)
Fabric:
- ½ yard of 6 fabrics-
- #1 Theme
- #2 Center Band and Last End Borders
- #3 First Side Borders
- #4 First End Borders
- #5 Last Side Borders
- #6 Binding (You could use one of your other pieces for this if wanted)
- Backing will be approximately 3 yards (you can purchase that later if desired)
This will make a 45” x 62” throw
Cost: $80.00 (Included in the cost is the batting)
