Collage Quilt - Aug 13
Aug 13 - 9:30AM-12:30PM
Want to make a small “quilt” without the need to be accurate in cutting pieces and sewing a quarter seam? Collage quilts are a way to use fabric to make a beautiful piece but not having to use rulers and sewing precise seams. You chose fabric of various styles and cut them into pieces to place on a picture to fill it in. Just like you did as a kid when you cut up pictures and glued them on poster board. The end result is one of a kind and will never look the same no matter how many times you make the design. It is a way to use some scraps of fabric to create a unique quilt. Once you have your collage the way you want it, it will be fused to the background fabric, sandwiched, and then stitched before binding.
